Just got from Baguio this weekend. I guess it was my first time to spend All Souls Day holiday “vacationing” somewhere else other than my hometown. My sisters and I “freeloaded” with my uncle’s family, while they went to see my cousin, who’s a yearling at PMA.

Day 1 (Friday) - We watched the pre-recognition rites of plebes (4th classmen)

Day 2 (Saturday) - This time, we saw the formal recognition rites. I had a great time taking photos of the plebes and yearlings at the infamous Borromeo Field.

Day 3 (Sunday) - We raided the barracks because it was open house for the visitors.

After that, we witnessed the silent drill. My cousin is one of the drillers in black. They danced (so gracefully) to the tune of “Nobody” by Wonder Girls at the end of the routine. LOL.

Day 4 (Monday) - We went home at noontime, one day after our expected departure time.
The last time I went to the City of Pines was back in 2004, with college friends.

Boss told me to make sure I enjoy the vacation. I pretty sure did!

i like that photo of heart-shaped formation. reminds me of my old ROTC drills readying for the tactical inspection.
