I’m partly interested in what happened to Sandara Park when she eventually went back to her home country after her brief waddle into Philippine Showbiz. I heard she’s doing quite well, getting involved more and more with big names in Korea.
It surprised me though when I read she’s now a member of a Korean girl group, 2ne1 (formerly known as 21) whose single, FIRE, was just released yesterday (6 May), along with two versions of the music video. (No wonder if they’re still all over YouTube!)
Too bad though, you won’t find the Sandara voice who sang “Walang sabit…” shampoo ad jingle because her vocal part in the song was highly synthesized. (Is that a good or a bad thing?)
2ne1 - FIRE MV (Space version)
2ne1 - FIRE MV (Street version) - I like this version better!

FIRE by 2ne1 lyrics

Haha, I found out about this last May 10 when I randomly searched for Korean girl bands.
I thought that it was purely coincidence that her name was Sandara Park and that she had some resemblance to her.
Maybe it’s not just because of her voice which got synthesized, but also because she’s singing in Korean.
