I’ve been suffering from an acute tonsilitis since yesterday. As of now, I still have fever and I don’t feel good without Paracetamol’s help.
It’s true that my throat was feeling a little sore even before Fluffy and I went to the mall to shop for clothes and shoes. I even managed to eat a lot that time - banana fritter, mango shake, corn soup at SM Makati, then a meal from World Chicken at Glorietta’s food court.
I’m really puzzled at what caused the “sudden” inflammation. It was only after seeing the company doctor that I decided to look at my own throat in the mirror. Then, voila!
“Nanang tinubuan ng tonsil,” according to Doc. There must be a load of abscesses in my throat for her to say that!
This image from Wikipedia barely shows how abscesses have grown in my tonsils. Gross, very. I can see how the nurse, doctor and Fluffy grimaced when they saw it. I’m grossed out by my own effing tonsils! *shudders*
I took a picture of my throat and will post them soon. Thank me the cables are missing or I’m not sparing everybody from the gross-y part. *evil laugh*
I’m partly thankful that this “ailment” showed up just when I was granted sick leaves by my company.
