Yesterday evening, I met with some upperclassmen from high school to discuss whatever possible contribution I could help in our (incoming) alumni homecoming this December. Our school is turning 10 this year and them, being the forerunners first batch of graduates, were bugged asked by the current principal to organize the homecoming.
I might will be doing the web site. (And I absolutely love the idea.) BUT. I do hope that with my cramped schedule, I could squeeze in the possible new "racket".
(No, I wouldn't be receiving any for this. But still. You know, I have plans on buffing my portfolio, just in case... I shift careers. LOL, srsly.)
Just in case you might be wondering like Fluffy why of all people, they chose me to make help them with THAT one out. Lets just say, I'm close to some of them more than some of my own high school batch mates. Fifty percent of my high school life was all about contests and competitions that require us to get on our feet before time goes out. (If that's exaggeration, make that 49.9%.) And these upperclassmen had been my doting elder brothers and sisters whenever we go out-of-town to compete with other schools within Bicol.
Honestly, I miss them but I had to limit my stay not because I was already feeling out-of-place but I felt they also needed time and space for themselves. It's not a daily thing to hang out with your former high school classmates.
And so I declare, I'm exited to see people from high school again. I can't miss this reunion. ![]()
