Happy anniversary buddies! (When are we gonna drink, eat and play DoTA to that?)

Re-echoing someone else’s lament… why do I seem to blog more when I know I need to have energy for tomorrow’s work? Well, anyway, I barely noticed how the week ended. We had a “corporate values workshop” last Saturday and it stole my precious weekend from me. But hey, it’s alright since our team won in the last activity, which allowed us to build the sturdiest, tallest and most attractive straw tower among all.

Btw, since we’re in the consulting business, rubbing elbows with these people comes once in a blue moon.

I hardly talk about work in my blog these days but now I’m ranting off since our deadline is gonna be this Friday! Arrrrgh! Three more screens to go (five in actuality - 3 forms and 2 reports) and I hope to nail one before lunchtime tomorrow. I still have no idea how to do the others.

On the other hand, I’m getting used to speaking some infectious gay lingo I got from a work room mate. Chorva!

Days ago, Fluffy was raving about this new MMORPG which will be starting its open beta today. Mabinogi is another fantasy MMORPG that will surely entice the fun-seeking gamers out there.

According to sites, the game was already launched for closed beta days ago. Since this release is open beta, it was announced (in a press release) that the characters created during the test period will be retained until it becomes commercialize. I’m not sure if the previous statement meant “pay-per-play” but that would surely make me a little bit sad cause everyone know we only play free MMOs.

We haven’t downloaded the game yet. But as soon as the link’s up, waiting is over. At least we could clarify whatever our cloudy understanding of the game policies, mechanics, etc.

As of the writing, the download link at the official Mabinogi site isn’t up yet. But it is already available at FilePlanet (Download Mabinogi Client | Mabinogi Info).

We waited, we saw and we exclaimed. Not in the streets but inside our office. Not to yell at Gloria its time to step down. Not even to express our disgust at corruption. But to rejoice that we can leave early and head home (and catch a sale at SM Southmall).

I love watching movies, hearing stories and joining adventurous quests. This whole political and social movement is another but another episode unfolded before my eyes right outside the window of the building. It’s but another episode in the Gloria arc of the Philippine History novel. There was the Erap arc and I faithfully followed it on TV.

It was a choice not to act or follow.
