Days ago, Fluffy was raving about this new MMORPG which will be starting its open beta today. 
Mabinogi is another fantasy MMORPG that will surely entice the fun-seeking gamers out there.
According to sites, the game was already launched for closed beta days ago. Since this release is open beta, it was announced (in a press release) that the characters created during the test period will be retained until it becomes commercialize. I'm not sure if the previous statement meant "pay-per-play" but that would surely make me a little bit sad cause everyone know we only play free MMOs.
We haven't downloaded the game yet. But as soon as the link's up, waiting is over. At least we could clarify whatever our cloudy understanding of the game policies, mechanics, etc.
As of the writing, the download link at the official Mabinogi site isn't up yet. But it is already available at FilePlanet (Download Mabinogi Client | Mabinogi Info).
Edit: Currently, Fluffy and I are concerned if we can play this game at all. Its not clear if the "open beta" is open to US players only. We'll see.
On a related note, to those who can afford "pay-per-play" MMOs like World of Warcraft, do you know that there are pre-leveled Wow Accounts that can be bought from BuyMMOAccounts.com? If I were a WoW player, the only justification I can provide in getting a pre-leveled account is so I can keep up with an existing player's level. Although it would be fun if say Fluffy's high level character would help me level-up to a certain point. However, we know that fighting off monsters matching our levels are more exciting and challenging. This, I think, is where buying MMO accounts count.
