Cureless

I can’t imagine what difference a mere 1 hour can bring to my state-of-being. Yesterday, I took an hour extension at work. When I got home, I was so tired that I made it halfway doing the laundry. I took a nap, hopeful to get back at the unfinished chore. Surprisingly, no amount of bickering between Bella Aldama and her arch nemesis, Angelica (of GMA’s Marimar fame) could wake me up. I got up 3 hours later. And sat in front of the computer to check on Fluffy. The irony of all ironies happened, just when I posted that challenge. The internet stole my time and I finally rested at almost 3 am. *Sigh*

But! Since I wasn’t so into doing work today, I decided to call it a day after 9 long hours. I came home like when I used to, I mean, when tasks are scarce and the office internet is boring you. In other words, when work isn’t too overwhelming. A little prodding from the back of my head made me wash (and finish) the remaining dirty clothes to be done. And before that, I got to check my ATM card if the monthly pay is already there. Too bad though, I couldn’t get the clothes I sent to the laundry shop last Monday. But anyway, we’ve got a little plan on the weekend and I hope I’d get to exercise my goal.

Since I’m feeling a little jumpy today, I thank Joni for tagging me in filling out this meme about 10 things that made me happy recently.

1. Bique-chan, that nice surprise from Fluffy gave on V-day (our 4th child)
2. Banana sundae + chocolate brownie dessert from KFC*
3. Pata-pata-pata-pon! (Patapon, my newest PSP game - Here, I get to be the Almighty!)
4. PR6 (no matter how temporary) despite the ads and participation in sponsored posts (can you spot them?)
5. I just mentioned earlier, the monthly pay
6. My new bubbly co-workers
7. Mama (grandma) turning 81!
8. Making tuna sushi and cooking pasta with sister
9. New things learned (like making making AJAX calls to Java servlets)
10. … and nothing could ever compare with the joy brought by Fluffy’s company
