I challenge myself

As I was about to sleep last night, I pondered on why I always end up not using my time after work productively.

Being productive for me means producing something out of my hobbies. I want to churn out either a blog post a day, come up with an experimental design in Photoshop, or learn a technique and try out sample applications to reinforce my programming skills needed for work.

Blame it on those social networking sites, you begin browsing through other people’s profiles and photos and you know what’s next. As some may have experienced same pattern of addictiveness to these social networking sites, I notice same thing happening to me.

Blame it too, on my lousy or totally non-existent time-management skills. I don’t exactly plan what to do next. And there goes my life… astray.

And so I thought what if I plan that I must do them everyday. I mean, blog after work. Experiment with Photoshop. And study.

This is some sort of a challenge I’m posing at myself. Of course, I’ll be monitoring this through blog posts as well. :)
