I noticed a great shift in my body clock this week. Waking up at 7 am is something against my initial plan of waking at 6. And then I go back home from work at 6:30, an hour later than my schedule, exhausted and uninterested at anything. I usually take a nap, then the TV wakes me up by the screams of Sunshine Dizon in recently-concluded TV show, La Vendetta. At 10 pm, I’m awake again, doing stuff I plan to do before sleeping like tidying up my place, checking the Internet and eating. Yes, eating.
Last Tuesday for instance, the recipe I was dying to cook during the weekend was realized. Fluffy helped me with the groceries and I was cooking pasta with some Swedish sauce, which I got from a local food mag, at midnight. The day before that, around same time, I remember I was stuffing my stomach with the puto (rice cake, hardened one) I’ve know in my childhood.
Yesterday, I don’t remember at all about heavy bingeing but I already slept at 3 am, only to wake up again at 7 am later. But again tonight, Kikay is sleeping over and bought some pizza. I just had my 3rd slice. (And Fluffy doesn’t know about it, har.)
Tracing back to where this unhealthy habit began, I’m think it started during that time I had an Internet. (Ah, the evils of the net!) Staying up late at night because of “unproductive” activities (not including blogging, of course!) evolved into waking up late, causing me to get exhausted by the end of the day.
I certainly want this to stop and I hope by next week (weekends excluded!), I’ll be up following my plans again.
On a related note, stopping the bingeing is definitely a way up in your quest for losing weight and shedding off those extra fats. Furthermore, diet plans plans that are properly followed are also seen as an effective way to end weight problems. I’ve heard a lot of inspiring stories from people following fitness and nutrition programs offered on the Internet.
Such is Weight Loss Diet Help.com. It mainly presents several diet plans and weight loss programs, and compares them. The site also offers discount coupons and promos for those who wish to avail of them. Featured on the site are several articles such as tips on putting off weight, health diet and nutrition suggestions, exercise plans and other advices on healthy ways of losing weight.
If you’re really serious about your health and fitness, the key is patience and perseverance. No healthy diet solution works overnight.

Patience and perseverance, indeed. I’ve been on a diet since the start of the year, but so far, I see very little change. Pfft.
