My sister’s debut party is over. And I think it was pretty much a success as it went well as planned. Despite the seemingly unfit mood for the holidays I was feeling during the past days, this event took all the bad auras away just seeing my family proud and happy. This holiday is one very rare occasion that our family has been together, all 6 of us. Mommy and Daddy took a very quick leave from work just for Kikay’s debut. I still personally do not believe in “money well spent” on lavish celebrations. But this one really is, if only for that factor that the whole family has gathered, in the longest time - my grandparents from both sides are there, as well as both of my parents’ siblings and our cousins.
