What I bought with my unverified PayPal account

This is an overdue post. I just didn’t have a camera so it took long for me to finally post it.

It may seem oblivious, but I’ve been earning a little from the internet through the ads on my site and through blogging. But I’m having a trouble seeing what I earn as something tangible since I’ve never really en-cashed my TLA check nor withdrew funds from PayPal.

There’s a time that I wanted so badly to prove that I’m indeed benefiting from blogging. But since I don’t have a credit card, I couldn’t get to upgrade my Personal Account with PayPal, which means I have limitation when it comes to buying/sending payments.

Then I searched the Internet for every possible way I can spend my PayPal funds. I’ve visited online stores, then I ordered items, only to back-out each time the store would require the buyer a verified PayPal account. I only have $100 to spend and the shipping rates are making me bleed.

By some strange fate, I was guided to survey eBay Philippines (ebay.ph). I used to hate this site for sending unsolicited subscription mails. But I thought I should give it a chance. I was further convinced by the testimonials left by people on the sellers. There could be no way these people would dupe me.

The branded bags are my favorite among the items. :) Not that I’m a bag lover or collector. It’s just the people around me seem to have influenced me about their favor for these items.

But still it took me long before I found an eBay.ph seller who accepts PayPal as the mode of payment. (I think she’s the only one who does.) Most of them still prefer bank transfer, GCash or COD. Perhaps they haven’t heard of PayPal Philippine’s service yet.

Finding the eBay items was the best opportunity for me to think about early Christmas gifts for my old ladies. I bade on 3 items to maximize my PayPal limit. Out of the $100 spendable, I’ve only got $14 left.

What I bought from E-bay Philippines A Guess wallet, a Polo Jeans Co. bag and a set of Estee Lauder perfume, plus 2 lip extra balms :)

If Joni had a car that blogging bought, I have a wallet, perfume and bag that blogging bought! Needless to say, I was happy with the purchase, happier when I got my LBC-packed items on time, and the happiest at the thought of giving them to the ladies. :)

For the record, this is my first ever successful online purchase. :D And this could actually convince me to finally get a credit card sooner or later.
