in this day and age, no ONE should have to endure dial ups anymore! they should be banned altogether. :-) -by broadband, you mean DSL right? it's still a little unstable and unreliable but way better than dial ups. I've been using cable modem for years and by far the best connection you could have. i live in the united states though but I can very well relate to the DSL woes because my sister has DSL under smart in Pasig and it drives me nuts! her excuse for not calling me via skype is their connection's down! sigh.

very nice stumbling on your blog! very good reading, content-rich. i love the layout too, easy on the eyes! will be back for more readings next time! cheers!

Thank goodness for broadband. I don't think I'd be very happy without it... going back to 56k dial-up, yikes. My job requires that I have high speed Internet connection because I work @ home 9-5 usually 3 times during the week.

@Joni: I heard about the location thing when I was evaluating my choices for broadband. Perhaps the only reason why I chose Smart over Globe is the fact that the former only requires an ID (and an initial payment, of course) to process you application. Otherwise, I would have chosen Globe because of its extra land line bundle perk (with same price as Smart Bro).
