Lingering scents
The instant soup I cooked earlier this evening left a strong aroma around my tiny living space. It reminds me now of my own carelessness that made me regret for a while. That’s when I broke the bottle of a barely-used Ghost perfume. It filled my bathroom with a scent that lasted for weeks. I regret the fact that it was the ONLY perfume I liked to wear. And it’s gone only when I started using these stuff given to me by Mommy.
Honestly, I’m not so much into perfumes. Mommy also gave me a Glow by JLo four years ago. And until now, there’s still more than half of it in the bottle. I like Glow. In fact, I’ve worn it a few times before and I was amazed at how long the scent lasts. But then I realized that although I love its smell, it is just too overwhelming to be a part of my daily/regular wear. It doesn’t suit my personality. And we’re better off as occasional partners. (Feh!)
Now I’ve already found a favorite fragrance to use more than say, occasionally. But it’s not exactly the much concentrated perfume.
UPDATE:
Guess what Mommy gave me on my 24th birthday? A set of perfume… ack… again. ;^^ Thanks Mommy!
