Knorr recipe: Pork Chops Oriental

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg pork chops (around 7 to 8 pcs)
  • 70 g cream of mushroom powder
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • 1 tsp garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup water

Procedure:

  1. Dissolve 1/2 pouch of cream of mushroom powder in water, then set aside.
  2. Marinate the pork chops in soy sauce, garlic, ginger, pineapple juice and the remaining cream of mushroom mix for about 3 minutes.
  3. Pan fry the pork chops in oil and set aside.
  4. Put the remaining marinade and the dissolved cream of mushroom powder in a pan and bring to boil.
  5. Add the pork chops into the pan. Lower the heat and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes
  6. That’s it and eat!

Despite the fact that I received 3 cook/recipe books as gifts last Christmas (one from Fluffy and two from the kris kringle), I’d still like to post some of the recipes I tried, as reference for myself. Besides, other cooking enthusiasts on the net might also be interested. :D
