GMANews goes Internet!
So the split-up between Inquirer and GMA 7 is true. While Inquirer.net uses the old Inq7.net format, GMANews.tv is fresh and has made a successful revolution. Although still in its beta stage, I must say it’s a job well done! The site uses Flash Video format for showing news clippings that had been previously broadcasted on TV. Remember that it made YouTube a billion-dollar success (having been purchased by Google).
This would definitely make the Internet a livelier place. Imagine, I could catch up with the latest showbiz chikka minute of Pia Guanio? I do hope other Filipino media sites would follow the lead of GMA 7. Personally, my only prayer is for the site to remain unblocked by the office’s proxy servers.
