New year, new look!
I may have not kept my word about making the “final layout” for my site but isn’t it good to hear that it has a new one just in time for the new year?
I haven’t finalized everything yet, my overdue unfinished works gallery included. There are still a lot of things I need to do for this site. One is cleaning up the blog archives, reorganization of the categories is next, and then filling up the works gallery. But during the past weeks, in between going to and from homes, attending holiday gatherings and celebrations and proxy-playing Okami for Fluffy, I managed to squeeze in configuring this new theme.

Well, this design has already been sitting around since the first week of December. But everyone knows of the difficulty lying in turning the Photoshop image into a Web Standards compatible XHTML and CSS. Not to mention the process of turning the valid code into a WordPress theme and making sure the plugins and hacks still work with the new one. It took me more than a month to put this altogether.
My former pastel and flower-themed layout passed the validation but it doesn’t show well in Internet Explorer (except IE 7+). I have to accept the fact that more than 50% of the visitors of this site use IE. A little more patience in coding and searching for hacks actually pays off. This new one turns out decent in the newer versions of IE. But it doesn’t mean I’m already recommending IE. Mozilla Firefox is still my best browser. Opera comes next. ![]()

AWESOME!!!
