Cureless

You know what my LSS is? It’s Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth. :O I’m not sure if it has anything to do with my current state of mind (most probably, yes) but I’m still wondering why Megadeth of all the songs I played in my list during the past days. I’m pretty sure I’ve expressed how much I’ve been a metal music-transformed listener and that my favorite band is Metallica. Now, in metal world, everyone knows that Megadeth is like the arch enemy of Metallica, with the former’s frontman (Dave Mustaine) having been infamously dismissed as a member of the latter in the 80’s. I’ve heard a few songs from Megadeth and no wonder the band’s one of the 4 thrash metal legends (including Metallica) but I never liked Dave Mustaine’s voice. James Hetfield (of Metallica) is way greater, in terms of vocal quality than him, honestly speaking. But now I keep hearing his grunty vocals…

Just like the pied piper
Led rats through the streets
We dance like marionettes,
Swaying to the symphony…
Of destruction

Maybe it’s only their trademark thrash that’s leading me to continue having my LSS. But I can pretty much block a portion of my ear to keep myself from being annoyed by Dave Mustaine’s voice in favor of the band’s other musical elements. Now I’m quite sure I had to search & download more of Megadeth’s songs.
