I dragged Fluffy to NAIA yesterday to fetch my mother who just got back for a month-long vacation from Qatar. When we entered the arrival area, she was already there waiting. I waved, then immediately rushed to her, occassionally looking back at Fluffy who's also running after me. We kissed on the cheek and she immediately asked if "he's" my boyfriend. Of course she knew it, she was just asking to confirm.
Lola and the rest were a bit delayed on the car they rented to fetch Mommy. So Mommy decided to by two bags of chocolates to make sure there's enough for everyone. Later that day, I brought several packs to the workplace for my buddies. She brought me a pair of earings and a necklace. She had several boxes and I bet most of them are pasalubong for our relatives and her friends.
What I like about Mommy the most is her thoughtfulness. She was a housewife before she had a job abroad. Since she didn't have income and means to please her friends and relatives during those times, she's making up for it now. She hasn't lost touch with the world she has lived in.

That is so unlike me who's already soiled with apathy and the feeling of detachment towards that part of my world. No, I don't care for my relatives who has nothing to do with me. I'm thinking more about myself and the future family that I must raise with my own hands.
