Attitude & Luck

I believe I passed the 2nd quarter PFT yesterday because of both attitude and luck. Well, I’m attributing it firstly to luck. I have DECIDED to stop during the second round. If the proctor hadn’t encouraged me that I’m running the “last round” I could have readily given up during the 2nd round. And then attitude.

Its during these times when our other despicable senior’s words make sense. It’s all about ATTITUDE. Covering both ends of the grandstand takes me 30 seconds. And that time, I was conscious of every elapsing minutes and seconds, although I noticed my hot, burning feet during the third round. After 18 minutes, I was already running the lane in front of the grandstand. I knew I needed to sprint because I wanted to pass. The time was 19 minutes and 14 seconds, 11 seconds ahead of my doom. All I could say was “Ay salamat” & “Thank God!“.

It was our semi-anniversary yesterday. :) We ate, played a little in TimeZone then watched The Lake House at Greenbelt. It was a good date movie. I can’t help smirking though at Keannu Reeves’ acting. It’s not an action movie, you know, a little more subtlety in the voice and the moves could make the movie better.
