Paraders’ Rest

This was taken during a practice of the AFP’s parade presentation for the Independence Day. I was with my juniors from our office, who by the way are also programmers and network/systems admins. :) Being the most senior, I had to endure some bashings from the most senior among the female paraders due to being late. :P

Today, June 12, 2005, we had the actual parade and I’m glad we heard good feedback from those who have seen us. :) It wasn’t as tiring as the ‘other normal’ long-standing parades since we only marched across the grandstand without standing, waiting for the ceremony to end. Something to be proud of… again :) Moreover, I had to admit it was my first time to go to Luneta last Saturday. ;^^

You guys look so awesome in your uniforms. *_*

And congratulations on the new design! I’m lovin’ it, especially the subtle flowers in the body’s background.. <3

[...] Like last year, I was once again, a part of it. The last time I’ll probably salute at the Luneta as a military personnel. And this is one of the things I’ll surely miss when I’m out. [...]
