What Da Funk Da Vinci Code
Fluffy & I watched the much hyped “controversial” movie The Da Vinci Code last night. In Market! Market! 3 of their 7 cinemas were reserved solely for the movie. The show started at 7:35pm but much to my disappointment, the cinema was nearly full with a few seats left. We got the front seats on the right wing of the cinema. And the movie started with both of us munching our Subway sandwiches and having a few sips of soda.

The first scenes were okay. I’m not in a position to compare the book and the movie since I was one of those people who haven’t read Dan Brown’s book. Well, I read only until chapter 5 so I may say that I have barely read the book. The first 5 chapters were translated to a few minutes of the movie. Judging however its story has a mystery / detective-type of plot, the following scenes didn’t bother to startle me. I could even say that the movie irked me to the point saying BS (Bullsh*t) at the end of the movie.
Perhaps I would have appreciated the story more if I’ve read the novel itself. Or maybe much of my anticipation got drowned with the hype surrounding the movie that’s why I couldn’t appreciate its story.

And what the heck are these narrow-minded people spreading about not-watching-the-movie-because-it’s-Anti-Christ doing? The story as I have seen from the movie is BLATANTLY FICTION. Amp! Who would believe such crap? Perhaps the novel is a more persuasive in retelling the Priory of Sion hoax and I, the educated but extremely gullible I might believe it. May I suggest that these people spread about not watching the movie because it’s bad and NOT because of its message whatsoever…
