So we had exactly 4 rounds of pass-and-review at the grandstand today. It was drizzling. But at least we used slings for our M-16 rifles. Unlike yesterday, we used M-14 rifles, which are much heavier than M-16’s without sling…

Enchanted in EK

Saturday, I met up with college friends and went to Enchanted Kingdom! The rides were as precious as the talks we had on our way there and back. The most memorable thing was a devised way of calling their ex’s (ex-boy/girlfriends)…. HE/SHE-WHO-MUST-NOT-BE-NAMED~! In other words, the Voldemort!

Exemption not granted

Apparently, the CO didn’t approve our pledge to exempt me from the Independence Day Parade. So the supposedly training scheduled this week will be moved to the following week. Arrrrgggghhhh…. Mehatesthismilitarytraditionthing!!!!!
