Da funk june
It’s almost da-funk June.
I never enjoyed the summer. I had a horrible weekend and I’m just too fascinated with the current week that I’d rather not discuss the past.
Yesterday I had the basics of Visual Basic.
It’s a pretty easy application (considering the software app, it reminds me of Dreamweaver) and the programming is not a pain. Our next project involves making the web counterpart (using J2EE) of the VB standalone application. I hadn’t talked with the main proponent of the VB app although I already got the source code. I asked RJJS if I could bother him, and he said OK.
I received a commo last Friday and it details me as one of the paraders in the forthcoming Independence Day celebration. We’ll be having 4 rehearsal days, including the final one which will be held at Luneta. RJJS thinks it’d hinder the development of our projects, and I’m hoping to be exempted from the detail.
Today was pretty exciting as we were tasked to teach basic HTML to some officers who are undergoing schooling. It was an almost straight 8-hour duty (1230H to 2000H). Whew~ Teaching is both pain and gain. At one time I’d like to scold them for not listening to instructions first before working on their PC’s. At one moment, I’m proud that some of them show progress and understanding in the particular matter you’re talking about.
