Go Coke~!
I wasn’t active watching the PBA last season. The truth is I just don’t want to see the imports playing. My most favorite season is the All-Filipino Cup. During said season, only the Filipinos (including Fil-Ams) are allowed to play. (Note: the PBA imports are not necessarily Fil-Ams.)
I don’t know if I’d feel *totally* sad if Coca-cola traded off Jeffrey Cariaso to Alaska, one of my favorite PBA teams (next to Coca-cola). Aside from senior player Johnny Abarrientos, Coke now doesn’t have a “very vocal” leader. But I saw some reason not to be *totally* sad at all. Jeffrey Cariaso wasn’t traded to nothing. Coke now has Ali Peek and John Arigo (former Alaska main men). W00t! Yey!
Recently though, Coca-cola lost its team standing to Shell, who now is tied with Talk ‘N Text for the first place. Alaska, on the other hand doesn’t stand good at all. The team is 2nd to the last. They’ve at most 7 games so far and some of these were held in the provinces. For more info, visit the PBA Website.
