Cureless

I just came back from Albay so please excuse my absence over the weekend and last Monday and Tuesday. My Mama (grandma) got sick and I was worried that I have to bring her to a better hospital here in Manila so I went home. Thank God there isn’t much to worry now since the reason of the pain she’s been enduring in her neck is because of athritis. People grow old and no doubt she could be experiencing that since she’s 77.

I was the housemaid for two days or so. A relatively different experience from my past visits (and my stay for almost 16 years of my life) since I seldom do the housework. I purposely went there to convince Mama to go with me back to Manila. But then she consulted the family physician, who clarified her case and nullified my further persuasions. My uncle objected to my idea cause Mama might suffer more from travelling a long distance.

After that incident, I am seriously considering applying for a job near my grandparents place (my hometown!). There aren’t much private companies in Legazpi City as there exist in Ortigas. There’s even a bigger chance of being employed in the government because it is a regional center. I’ll try my luck. But another conflict will arise…
