Graduation aftermath, Ignatian retreat and The Passion of the Chirst
Mya! I’m able to place something here again at last. The past weeks have been busy weeks. No I wouldn’t say hell weeks ’cause I haven’t really experienced anything like hell. I have already disclosed the existence of this site to my family (my dad) since I really wanted to be recommended for work. T_T So, there, very private concerns aren’t to be discussed here anymore.
I graduated BS Physics last 27 March! Somehow I could say that I’ve beaten the course. Thanks foremostly to my classmates for all the support. It was really group effort that kept us afloat the sea of the Schrodinger equation, electromagnetic fields, bras and kets, Maxwell relations, etc.
My Grandma and Uncle attended the grad. So did Lola Mommy (my grandpa’s sister). I wore a pair of Nine West stilletos Mom brought home. >.< My classmates were teasing me that they looked like some assasin’s weapon.
Two days after grad, I went with the ACIL peeps to Angono for the Ignatian Retreat. Imagine 3 days of SILENCE! The retreat was really heaven for me, it was my first retreat ever. We ate, prayed and sleep. I wish I could really go into another silent retreat again. I felt it was a great step towards my spiritual growth.
And then yesterday, immediately after the retreat, we watched The Passion of the Chirst. Funny how some people didn’t even shed a tear during the show while it was the “tearest-jerker” or “tear-jerkiest” movie I’ve ever seen. Hay! Well, if you really look into the technicalities, comparing what’s being shown with some tocino meat or longganisa, then…
Today was the farewell dinner for our classmate who’s going to US. Going to Glorietta at Makati only reminded us of the Animax Con and the Ragnarok launch of War of the Emperium which will be tomorrow. >.< The camera is packed but I won’t be going. >.<
