I didn’t know what happened to the people sentenced with death penalty after the President lifted the moratorium. But certainly if they die, it’d be due to procrastination. The moratorium was implemented in 2000 i think. After 3 years, the convicts and their attorneys still hadn’t filed for review of the case. When the moratorium was lifted by GMA after a series of kidnapping incidents involving wealthy Filipino-Chinese businessmen, that’s the only time then that these lawyers began appealing for the lives of these death convicts.

While walking to school this morning, I witnessed a car accident near the overpass (in front of Shakeys). I just heard a loud bang and coupled with screeching of car brakes. Then I saw a white car, front disfigured and a red one whom I supppose was making a U-Turn at the newly implemented road traffic scheme at Katipunan. Awful, I couldn’t get through my nervousness until before we started answering the questions for our long exam in PolSci.
