Flash Basic Animation Tips

FIRST: Draw every character first before designing the SCENES!
SECOND: Convert every element in the movie to SYMBOL!
THIRD: Minimize the usage of layers!
FOURTH: Optimize your image files to smaller sizes!
FIFTH (and the most important): Don’t be too perfectionist!

My classmates had just left after doing our presentation for Theology tomorrow. I could have uploaded the .swf file here but it’s just too big for internet. Imagine downloading a 6 mb Flash movie. It’s a tragedy. Worse is the Flash file I’m working on which size is already 130 mb. I had a bad experience with large sized files. In Adobe Photoshop, I couldn’t open a 45 mb file anymore. We’re fortunate (bad foltune, bad foltune!) that the file still opens in Flash. Years ago, I made a flash presentation with all my Fushigi Yuugi pics on it… It amounted to 90 mb, which I couldn’t open anymore in our old PC.
