New Year, Old Habits
Oh yah, I’m cutting my PolSci class for the very first time, my first time to cut classes for the year too. Hay… same old habit resurfacing on a new year.
Anyways, I’m glad that I was able to go home yesterday. That was after I met my grandpa and aunt at NKTI (National Kidney Transplant Institute). Lolo Nick had to undergo biopsy to determine if something’s wrong with his prostate (if there’s cancer in other words). The doctor (same med who operated Mama and Daddy in kidney) confirmed that it was only an inflammation of the organ, nothing worse than that.
I also had myself checked for any kidney trouble since I’ve been experiencing pain in the right side of my waist during the weekend. We have a family history of kidney trouble so my aunt was anxious when I told her about that. It wasn’t really the best relief I’ve experienced but I’m lucky the trouble is far from the right kidney. The doctor suspected it was only some muscular-skeletal pain so we need not worry. We’ve also consulted him about the UTI I had last October, if it has something to do with that kidney trouble thing. He again said that it’s pretty normal for a female to experience UTI at least twice a year.
Gahd! I’m only 20 and I won’t surely be happy if something like kidney trouble happens to me. I still love this life even if I’m in the Philippines and FPJ would surely win the Presidential seat in the 2003 elections.
As fer today’s tidbit, I bet the whole Photonics Lab is grieving over the death of chaos_gurl our dear sister’s account in Dark-Future. Rest in Peace chaos_gurl. You’re a hero.
