Acting Dr. Love
I’m so amused by this friend of mine who’s so paranoid over her boyfriend cheating her. Ahhh. It’s good that she’s discussiong about “matters of the heart” with her friends and I’m happy she listens but it’s hard to convince her. It’d be insulting to her intellect if I’d tell her she’s immature. But I’ve really told her she’s a little like that.
I was not pissed off. I was just so amused. After telling her that perhaps the reason why some people began commenting like “your bf is somewhat taking you for granted” or “you’re not that close anymore” is that because they’ve been around friends. Unlike the other couples in our course block, they haven’t detached themselves from their common friends like us. She paused for a while, I think we reached a rationale.
At that point, I realized that it’s necessary to think logical. I admit that I hated people who’d rationalize even when the situation doesn’t necessitate it. In philosophy, not everything can be explained by just using the rational mind, that’s according to Anselm.
