On Rico Blanco skin/layout; holidays; blogging; X-Men2 and puppy

I added a new skin and it’s Rico Blanco, leader of one of the most prolific Pinoy Rock Bands in town, the Rivermaya! ^^ Minna, if you still want to see those previous layouts or if you’re just simply in-love with Kaoru-dono, my previous default skin, you can just look it up from the list of skins in the sidebar. ^^ (Todo plugging…)

I’m quite disappointed today cause the government declared this day an optional holiiday but the school opt to have classes since it’s a private institution. I promised myself to go to the lib and browse that Math book I borrowed since the start of classes but what am I doing in front of the computer? (The ConvergentTechnologiesCenter building, btw was donated by PLDT and this laboratory is quite “luxurious” compared to the other computer labs, in the sense that we’re using those glassed computer tables that are supposed to be for the multimedia labs.)

I have a reason now to write a journal, not just a log of my everyday activities because our Sociology and Anthropology teacher required us to make a journal of our everyday observations for our final project which is a magazine. I might just as well incorporate those “observations” here.

After watching X-Men 2 last Wednesday, I decided to go home (not the boarding house) since it was already past 9 when we left the mall. The movie was, well, not that far from my expectation of a sci-fi movie, the twists and eye-feeding effects. I didn’t get to watch the 1st movie… Mystique should be a little older (but since she’s always in that make-up, it’s hard to figure that out). Logan was kinda out of character, he shouldn’t even be sympathetic, although his animal instinct in killing was honestly portrayed. The movie was PG-13. Scott shouldn’t be that overly protective of Jean. The Cyclops in the comics or the animated series was a bit more rational. And it was often Wolverine who instigated the fights between them. There are a lot more discrepancies between the film and the comics and the animated series but one thing’s for sure, the movie was there to make the people enjoy. ^^

[EDIT] Okay, just finished my Math subject and the instructor gave us 15 exercise problems to solve. It could’ve been better had I learned something from him during our more than a week of class meetings. The problem is it’s really hard to discern his lessons and in order to learn, I still have to consult the book. Another major problem, I haven’t even touched that book yet. ~_^’ God help me release this bad spirit called procrastination from my weak body.

Regarding our not yet optically sensitive puppy, I decided to name her Ice. ^_^ So that she’d remind me of someone, in case I’ve already forgotten ‘that’. ^^ [/EDIT]

Mutant Wannabe! Well, we’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is that you’ve definitely got some latent mutant powers. The bad news is that if you didn’t have experts like us on the case, you’d never even know it. Your mutant potential needs to be developed, coaxed out like the last drop of toothpaste from the very bottom of the tube. Keep doing your thing, and one day that mutant ability just might show itself. If not, might we suggest attending a fine institution like the Xavier School for Gifted Students. We hear their biology department is excellent.

ugh, math isn’t easy especially when the teacher is incredibly absorbed in showing the answer but not the method :/
