PBA game on Christmas Day!
Whee! This is one of the most unforgettable Christmas days of my life. Although I didn’t really wanted to stay here and not go to the province, the sacrifice was worth it! I woke up at 10:30, pretty late but just on time to prepare myself in attending the family gathering at Fairview.
We were fetched by Lolo Erning and his family (including Ate Belinda and her “Jules” the Canadian husband - they look like Assunta and Jules together). Of course, my mother’s side family always hold this annual gathering but it was my first time to attend cause I’ve always been in the province. We left the place at about 3 and commuted to Cubao.
We arrived at the Araneta Coliseum at about 4:30. The players of the Coca-cola Tigers and Alaska Aces were having the usual warm up. The game started at exactly 6. I am sided on the Coca-cola and I succesfully convinced my brother and cousin to side with me, but my uncle (my aunt’s husband) is an Alaska fan.
The 4th game of the final series was great! There were a lot of Coca-cola fans, I could estimate from the cheers of the jam-packed dome. Of course, we would shout each time a Coke player scores. Hatfield lead all the scores at 20. I’m not sure of the final score but man, COCA-COLA WON! They’re the All-Filipino Cup Champions! Ali Peak of the Aces had 19 but the team isn’t just as willful as the Tigers.
I’m not sure if I’m an official Coca-Cola Fan but for now… Good work Mr. Reavis, the player whom my brother calls Gori because of the number 4 on his jersey; Morano, my kababayan and Mr. Chot Reyes, the very emotional coach of the Tigers.
Btw, I received a lot of text messages from my friends but got no way to text them back cause I’m broke. ~_~ When we commuted back home, my uncle has to pay a fare for 3 persons instead of 4 just to make ends meet. ~_~
Merry Christmas again!
^_^ Thank you, JC for giving me a very wonderful day! You know how grateful I am. ^_^
